The International Karate Daigaku is growning with leaps and bounds. To have your IKD Event or News item included here, please contact IKD Webmaster, Norm Robitza.

Please be sure that the information is correct and complete before sending it. Also send tournament results, links to photos and videos of gradings, tournaments or other events. Please DO NOT SEND photos or videos and expect them to be posted here. Links to images, etc. is better. Allow up to 48 hours for the information to be posted.

The province of Quebec (AKJQ) announced that they have voted to resign from the ISKF and join the IKD. With this news the IKD has grown to 17 countries with 26 organizations, 120 dojos, and 8 of 10 Canadian provinces. We welcome the members of the AKJQ.

Sensei David Clarke, 5th Dan, Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order (LVO), graciously accepted the post of IKD President. Sensei Clarke is originally from Barbados, resides in Jamaica and the world and is a true friend and colleague.

Sensei Marc Cordice, former Chief Instructor and Founder of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, has joined IKD and will represent us in Washington, USA. Sensei Cordice moved to the USA many years ago and was active both in the JKA and ISKF.
